Local Device Storage:

iCloud Sync:

• Data synced to iCloud is stored in your personal iCloud account
• iCloud data is subject to Apple's privacy policies
• iCloud sync is managed automatically by the app - users cannot directly modify iCloud documents
• Manual modification or manipulation of iCloud data may break app functionality and is not supported
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time through app settings

Our Servers (Minimal):

• Only user authentication data for sign-in purposes
• Usage analytics and rate limiting data
• User tier status and subscription information
• No personal relationship content stored on our servers
• All server data is encrypted and secured

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We Do NOT Share Your Personal Relationship Data

What We Never Share:

• AI-generated insights about your relationships

• Any content you input into the app

5. Your Privacy Rights and Controls

Access and Portability

• Access all your stored information through the app
• Review what information we have about you
• Your data is stored locally and in your iCloud account
• Data export is not available as it's managed through your personal iCloud storage

Deletion and Right to be Forgotten

• Remove individual contacts or notes
• Delete your entire account and all data
• Clear all app data from your device
• Request deletion of server-stored data
• Data is permanently removed from our systems immediately

6. AI and Machine Learning

How AI Processes Your Data

Google Gemini Integration:

• Your input text is sent to Google for AI processing
• Google's privacy policies apply to this data
• AI responses are generated based on your input
• No personal data is stored by Google beyond processing

AI Data Handling:

• Input text is processed temporarily
• No training of AI models with your data
• Responses are generated in real-time
• No permanent storage of AI interactions

7. Children's Privacy

• Maju is not intended for users under 13
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13
• Users under 18 should have parental consent
• We do not show ads to any users
• No behavioral tracking or profiling

8. International Data Transfers

• Your data is primarily stored on your device
• iCloud data is stored according to Apple's policies
• AI processing may involve international transfers
• All transfers comply with applicable privacy laws
• Full compliance with GDPR and CCPA

9. Data Retention

• Your relationship data stored locally on your device indefinitely
• iCloud data follows your iCloud account lifecycle
• Data deleted immediately when you remove it through the app
• AI processing data deleted within 24 hours of processing
• Accounts inactive for 2+ years may be deleted with notice
